Canada - Great opportunities for students
Canada offers an almost unparalleled living experience for international students,
with its high standard of living, low crime rate, excellent medical system and informal
society. A bilingual country offering both English and French as the main languages,
Canada is regarded as being one of the most ethnically diverse countries in the
world, with cosmopolitan cities such as Toronto and Vancouver leading the way. Canadians
themselves tend to be regarded as open, easy-going and welcoming to visitors and
particularly enjoy their own unique environment.
"Canada is becoming increasingly attractive with its value for money tuition fees and cost of living."

in Canada
The Canada has much to
be proud of in terms of its education. Two important deciding factors for international
students are the cost and quality of education. Canadians place great importance
on learning, and have developed a first-rate education system with high standards.
The country spends more on education (as a percentage of GDP) compared to the OECD

In Canada, a postgraduate certificate program consists of two to three semesters,
which can be completed in less than one year. A Bachelor degree or a diploma is
required to be accepted in this type of program. It offers the advantage of not
requiring to write a thesis and to focus on a concise subject. It is recommended
for students wishing to enhance their professional skills as it concentrates on
a more practical application in order to enter the labour market. Depending on the
province, the title can vary: Advanced Diploma, Post-Graduate Diploma, Post-Graduate
Certification, Post-Baccalaureate or D.E.S.S

the respective Universities or Colleges and TOEFL, GRE or any other specified standardized
test score
Master's programs in business study areas i.e. MBA programs in Canada will normally require a minimum of two to three years of relevant work experience, GMAT, TOEFL score and a 4-year graduate degree. While generally the duration of master's programs in Canada is two years, students may find some institutes in Canada that offer a fast track post graduation choice. |
